Our Doctors

Dr Catriona Arnold-Nott - Practice Principal

Catriona grew up in Canberra, and studied a combined degree in arts and medicine at the University of Sydney. Together with her husband Peter, she has spent most of her 20 year career working in Northern Australia. During that time Catriona has earned further qualifications in rural and remote general practice, sexual health and family planning, as well as public health medicine.
Catriona, Peter and their three children settled on a small farm outside of Millaa Millaa in 2009. Setting up Malanda Medical Care has fulfilled a lifelong dream for Catriona. She is passionate about whole-person wellbeing, while at the same time nurturing a fun and friendly workplace.

Jeni's interest in medicine stems from her childhood. Her father had a small General Practice clinic, when not at school she was often by his side helping him attend to patients. Her career has been inspired by the delight and satisfaction she experiences each time she is able to assist a patient to achieve wellbeing. On weekends Jeni likes to help out on the farm, particularly cultivating exotic tropical fruits.

Dr Jessica Adams General Practitioner

Jess is a born and bred Cairns girl who spent alternate weekends visiting family here on the Tablelands. She moved to Victoria to study medicine at Monash University. Her specialist diploma in palliative medicine enables her to provide compassionate care for all her patients in their greatest time of need.
