Dr Jeni Davilla Mendez

Jeni grew up in Mexico where she completed her degree and began a specialty in obstetrics. Her career plan underwent an unexpected turn when she married an Australian man and moved to a small farm near Mossman, enjoying the tropical North Queensland rural lifestyle. Jeni's interest in medicine stems from her childhood. Her father had a small General Practice clinic, when not at school she was often by his side helping him attend to patients. Her career has been inspired by the delight and satisfaction she experiences each time she is able to assist a patient to achieve wellbeing. On weekends Jeni likes to help out on the farm, particularly cultivating exotic tropical fruits.
